Based in Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh, Number One restaurant is situated in the world-famous Balmoral Hotel (for all you Harry Potter fans, the hotel J. K. Rowling wrote the last 2 books from). The Peat Inn is owned by award-winning Chef and food columnist Geoffrey Smeddle, and his wife Katherine. This modern cuisine, based on classical techniques, has earned numerous awards, including one Michelin star, a grade of 8 out of 10 in The Good Food Guide as well as a position of 22 in their top 50 U.K. restaurants.
Boath House is located on the beautiful Moray Firth Coast, well known for its food, contemporary art and relaxed ambience, a family run Hotel with an intimate atmosphere. The Boath House menu changes daily offering you straight from their garden to your plate cuisine, as well as locally reared meats.

Tom and Michaela Kitchin opened their restaurant in 2006, on the scenic waterfront of Leith, Edinburgh. The Kitchin was awarded a Michelin star in 2007 as well as boasting numerous prestigious awards including ‘Best Restaurant experience in Scotland’, ‘Best UK Restaurant’ and ‘Best restaurant experience 2015’. Kitchin’s philosophy from ‘From Nature to Plate’ reflects Tom and Michael’s passion for the finest, freshest Scottish seasonal produce as well as highlighting Tom’s training under some of the world’s best chefs blended with his own Celtic heritage.
